Le Don en Confiance was founded in 1992 by 25 large associations and social foundations of the continents and humanitarian organizations aware that the generosity of the public could only develop in a relationship of trust with public opinion and particularly with donors.
Since its creation, Don en Confiance has endeavored to develop its practices and its doctrine, taking into account its experiences and the evolution of the practices of its members. This adaptability was confirmed during the 2006 and 20012 General Assemblies.
WHY ARE WE HELPING THE WORLD?

The study shows first of all that the confidence of donors and of all French people is stable, at 55% of respondents.
Then there are multiple obstacles to donation, trust comes first but other reasons such as lack of money or the feeling of having already contributed through taxes are put forward by respondents not knowing that it is that which guarantees the registration of files to the list of beneficiaries.
EXPERIENCE

The society of benevolent support carries within itself the seeds of another hierarchy of values ​​and representations of trades and service activities. This hierarchy testifies to a paradigm shift in which the professions of service to the person, of care to another, to the vulnerable, aging person, or simply in difficulty of assuming the multitude of roles that they are wishes to hold or assigned to it. These trades and service activities take a growing share of overall economic activity and jobs. Thus, over the period 2003-2009, the increase in the volume of employment in the sector of health services, social action and sports increased by 15% against an average of 4%.
